What are your biggest motivators in life?
I think this one is pretty obvious for anyone who knows me - My two daughters Mikayla and Payton :)
What is your WHY?
My girls, They are everything to me. I strive to be the absolute best I can be in all aspects of my life from being a business owner to the person I am on the inside. I am mom/dad to my kids and I believe children become who they are because of their parents. I want my girls to see hard work, dedication, persistence, overcoming all life struggles, learning from mistakes and staying true to the selves will get them to the top. I want them to see nothing in life comes easy but working your ass off to get to where they want to be is what is most rewarding!
How do you/ plan to impact your community by being a Boss Babe?
I plan on impacting the community by just being me. Staying real and true to myself and showing others that doing things that make them happy, not letting others opinions of them affect them ( so many people tend to judge others without knowing their stories) and being real to others is what is inspiring. I plan on impacting the community by being open and talking about my story. I don't like when people have a picture painted that life has been perfect and easy for me and they got it rough. I'm always honest when im asked questions and im always real so people know life is a struggle but perceiving and pushing through, taking life's lessons and using them to better yourself is truly beautiful and inspiring.
What does being a Boss Babe mean to you?
Being a boss babe is empowering others - especially other women for me.
How did you start in the fitness industry?
I started in the fitness industry as therapy during some of the hardest times of my life when I was leaving my ex-fiance. Raising my two babies alone and working multiple jobs had taken a toll on me so being able to train 1 hour - 3 x a week with my trainer really saved me mentally and helped me grow significantly as a person.
What is your favorite healthy recipe?
I do a nutritional keto friendly diet with a carb load once or twice a week and right now my favorite recipes are Spicy Jalapeno poppers 5 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup mozzarella
8 medium jalapenos
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp mrs dash table blend
8 slices of bacon
pre heat over to 400F, Foil baking sheet and remove stems off of your peppers
slice peppers in half
scrape out all guts of peppers
in a bowl combine cream cheese, mozza, and spices
Pack cream cheese mixture into peppers creating a mound
press the other half of peppers in the cream cheese mixture
wrap each pepper in bacon
bake for 20-25 mins until bacon us crispy and ENJOY!
My fav dessert recipe which is also a Keto recipe is:
Keto coconut Fat bombs
- 1 1/2 cup extra virgin coconut oil
- 1/4 cup grass fed butter
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon or vanilla bean powder
- pinch of salt
- optional 20-25 drops stevia extract
pre heat over to 350F
spread the shredded or flaked coconut on a baking sheet. Place in over and toast for 5-8 min until light golden. Mix once or twice to prevent burning.
Transfer into a blender and pulse until smooth. You will get a smooth runny consistency.
Add the softened butter chopped into pieces and softened coconut oil.
Add cinnamon or vanilla, stevia, salt and mix well.
Pour into a mini muffin form or an ice cube tray. Place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes until solid.
How do youkeep a positive mindset and keep the haters out?
I am very confident with the mother, the motivator, the friend, the daughter and lover that I am. I am confident with myself in business and I am confident with my body no matter where my current physique is at. I think that is why I am able to not let any negativity from others affect me. I've worked very hard at everything that I have and am proud of who I have grown into and that I believe is the reason I do not let others affect me with negativity.
